Why I'm running

Long before I decided to run for trustee, I was building relationships, asking thoughtful questions and bringing people together to solve problems. Through my work with Surrey DPAC, I've had the privilege of working alongside families, educators, support staff, district leadership, trustees and community partners to strengthen public education in Surrey.

Those experiences have shaped how I lead. I believe students deserve enough space to learn, enough support to succeed and a Board of Education that makes thoughtful, transparent decisions grounded in evidence and informed by the people it serves.

I've learned that no one person or organization holds the complete picture of what's happening in our schools. The strongest decisions come from listening to diverse perspectives, asking hard questions and keeping students at the center of every conversation.

As your trustee, I will bring integrity, accountability and a collaborative approach to governance. I will work to build trust, strengthen relationships and advocate for a public education system that reflects the needs of Surrey's students, families and staff.

I'm running because every Surrey student deserves enough space to learn, enough support to succeed and a Board of Education that earns the community's trust.
